Herb, the “post-master” of this blog, started life in Germany, later moved to France, then to Spain. Moved again to Montreal, then to Toronto. Eventually bought a small English automobile called the Triumph “Mayflower” and came to the United States. On the Mayflower. Really.
Seen many things on my way, obviously. Came to believe that for sanity’s sake humor must be taken seriously, in other words, your laugh life should complement your love life.
For this blog I write little stories, essays, and observations. Most are pure fiction, meant to amuse you. Some may be about real things and certifiably important persons (Napoleon, for example, or Walt Whitman). Apart from those, however, the people I name do not exist.
